BIM Academy has developed an in-depth Virtual Project training programme which offers AEC industry professionals working in SMEs or large corporations, the opportunity to experience BIM in a real-life collaborative environment.

This three-day Virtual Project has been developed to show you exactly what it’s like to work in BIM, with 70% of the training covering a real project scenario.

The BIM Academy Virtual Project involves presentations, demonstrations, workshops and software tools training. The aim is to encourage as much engagement among participants as possible, with learning driven by the team itself and BIM Academy tutors providing guidance and support.

The course begins teaching the basics of strategic BIM implementation, explaining the UK government strategy and the requirements of the international BIM Standard, ISO 19650.

We will demonstrate how to plan a BIM-led project allow you to gain practical knowledge in current BIM software and manage processes in a real-time collaborative environment. This hands-on experience uses the latest and most popular software to support BIM processes.
